Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The film centres on the communities affected by Sauron's war;[2] the story of Arathorn II and his relationship with Gilraen, and the importance of the DĂșnedain bloodline. The bulk of the film was shot at the West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village in Suffolk. Forest scenes were shot in Epping Forest,[3] and flyover shots include views of Snowdonia National Park and Derwentwater.
